My friend lost her son two years ago. She posted this on facebook. It is hauntingly beautiful. She's a Dave Matthews fan and this artist has obvious influences... and the butterfly imagery was also very meaningful to her. I'm sure it was major waterworks for her. It was for me. Amazing!

There is a happy ending. I got both my kids back about a year and a half ago. We are all very happy. The song is still great, of course. Thanks for the positive response and I agree: one of thee best songs of the decade! I can't decide on 'the best' song of the decade... there were so many good ones. As long as one wasn't listening to FM radio, of course. ha ha. Cheers! :)

If I may, this song came out the same time my daughter and son moved away with my ex-wife and since then I have had a strong affinity for this song- mostly because I didn't have the chance to build a bond with my little son like I did with my daughter. Heart wrenching and yet complete beauty in art!
