Right click your volume button and go to "playback devices". Right click "speakers". Go to properties, and then click enhancements. Check "loudness equalization". Be careful, you'll damage your ears and your headphones if it's up and you do this. I'm sure you were only half serious, but headphones that were too quiet were an actual issue for me.
