This song means do much to me. My wife, best friend, soul mate, my world of 30 years, walked out of my life 2 years ago without any explanation. I have not heard from her since then. I would have died for her, but I guess it was not enough. I get that funny feeling and try not to cry when I hear this. We saw the Phantom 8 times together. A few months ago I decided to try out for my high school's play for this year, The Addams Family. It's my junior year, so I wanted to do something more than just marching band. In the tryouts, we have to sing a song from a Broadway musical. My first thought was Phantom of the Opera. I wasn't sure which song to pick at first (because they are all glorious) and my best friend suggested this song because it isn't one of the most memorable from the play. THIS VIDEO was the video I searched up and practiced with for a whole month in preparation for my audition. After an issue of stage fright, I was finally able to get up there and sing, and I did surprisingly fantastical. I didn't get a part, unfortunately, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH because this video was my saving grace for those auditions. Thanks! :)
