Wings previous single had been banned by the BBC (it was "Give Ireland Back To The Irish") so Paul was thinking "What can I sing about that can't possibly get banned?" and came up with this, He then skirted another ban with Wings next single with one side "Hi Hi H" being banned, but the other "C Moon" getting airplay. I would also ask listeners to compare this song with "Once Upon A Long Ago" and even "We All Stand Together (The Frog Song)" All three share a similar childlike quality.

So according to +NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, this song was Paul McCartney's breakout song in the UK as a member of Wings.I really don't know what to make about this... its almost surreal.
