Maybe it's just me, but the songs has some religious message in them through the years, I like it. It shows Winger has grown as an artist instead of sounding the same. The so called musicians of today need to take lessons from Kip Winger on how to grow musically

I believe that Kip Winger is a musical genius, this song no exception!He has written orchestral pieces and gotten praise in higher circles for his talents..When will people wake up and really believe that Winger was the true essence of MUSIC in the eighties and nineties!! Political awareness, peoples rights and human rights were the message of Kip's songs. Please set the record straight...Kip was doin what he loved and saw it being derailed by some jealous sorts who thought they knew better and had a Beavis and Buttwad agenda!!LOL ...Only those who know will prosper!

I find this song to not only be timeless from a composition standpoint, but shockingly prophetic and prescient given the de facto state of war the U.S. has been in since 1990 with much of the rest of the world. If you really dig into Kip's writing, he's quite a perceptive guy especially given the horse blinders most of the rest of the world has concerning his early music. I don't get it...why isn't this guy a megastar like Springsteen?
