I love how this song is about his first wife who was killed in an accident back in '87. Can't believe after all those years of thinking about her, he wrote a song so brilliant.

Um bom rock para animar o final de feriado!

Every song on this record is outstanding. The first two songs are the weakest songs and they are still GREAT songs! Anyone who considers themselves a rock fan should own this record. It is a masterpiece. Plain and simple.

I think you've really sold these guys short, like so many have. Rod is one of the best rock-to-fusion drummers I've ever heard. He downplays his chops to suit the compositions, which is a skill in and of itself; don't take that to be a euphemism for someone who doesn't really know their instrument either. I respect anyone's sense of aesthetics (taste) when it comes to the art of music and the expression of individuality, but if you're not "seeing much skill from these guys", you haven't looked.

@metallicarox80s Sorry but the man is a professor of percussion at Berklee. You must be limited in your studies.

Rod Morgenstein is recognised as one of the very best drummers in the world. He played with The Dixie Dregs. Listen to the end of Rainbow in the rose and tell me its not mind blowing........

ya, if you mean Kip's comment about Winger being the "Dream Theater of hair bands", you really have to take a comment like that with a grain of salt; even though I knew what he was trying to say, it just didn't come out right. He was trying to say that the amount of time and effort they put into releasing a quality product within their genre was on par with more serious musical undertakings; he wasn't trying to convince anyone their compositions are Dream Theater-esque.

2 words... we're not impressed by two-word reviews, as they fail to adequately describe much of anything. Ya...it'd be more impressive and useful if you'd actually try to define what it is you're not impressed by, exactly

I didn't realize that Winger had made a new album after "IV", which I absolutely LOVE. I'm prior service and EVERY track on that disk resonated with me immensely. On this album, I really love the tracks "After All This Time" and "Witness"....but this track is my absolute favorite. Kip is a musical genius and Reb is...well, quite frankly one of the best Rock Guitarists of our time. Can't say enough how much I loved this band (and Kip's solo stuff). Pure joy to listen to. **out**
