The "new" album came out recently-within the last year or so. For years when asked about whether a new album was in there wirkw, he answered with a question, "Is there something wrong with the other one?"I wonder if there's any other artist whose debut album opened with as much critical and popular success who took so long to record a second one. I think he just likes to play in honky tonks, dance halls, and such to live audience. The new album is pretty good too, but his voice has deepened over the years. He has been performing them for years so it's not like he didn't have the material.

One hell of a musician. Could you please repost Goodbye Old Missoula. It used to be here but it was taken off a few months ago. Thank you.

Saw him in a little club in OKC in the late nineties. Took this album with us and he signed it after the show. It was an amazing show that I will never forget! He talked about that "new" album, but I'm not sure that it will ever come to fruition. He is a fine musician who refused to play by the record companies rules and I respect him for that! Please post Northeast Texas Women:-)

No. Willis only recorded this one. He has been "working" on another album for like thirty years. However this is my favorite record in my collection.

A beautiful song. And, yes, we need to keep this tune alive now that America is in so much trouble, so lost, so lonely with her great heart hurting and her soul so deeply wounded.
