Que maravilha de musica, tocou em meu coração, e não contive as lagrimas. Fiz uma vigem no tempo, e voltei a ser criança. Me vi andando pelos campos florido de onde nasci e vivi a minha infância gratidão por ter postado.

Bobbie is a stellar pianist! She should have been in your band long ago because she speaks the same language as you Willie. Love to hear both of you perform "Seven Spanish Angels" I miss Mr. Charles dearly. Paul & Starry Knights

I had the pleasure of seeing Willie and his sister in San Luis Obispo a few years ago....a small venue but great acoustics and wished the music had gone on all night. One of the moments you can't ever redo and was so glad to have been there.

Willie not only bought the church, but I believe he had it restored, also.

Willie's contribution to somebody else's albumn, as always, added class to the project! Being a long time, 35+ years, fan, I don't remember him ever recording it, elsewhere.

Now that's a good man, he has taken care of his little sister all of their lives. Not that she didn't deserve it though. Her heart and soul filled piano work has been a huge part of the success of Willie and Family through the years.

Yes that's right! They have truthfully been playing together for 70 years now. In fact Willie bought the struggling little church they played together in at 8 and 9 years old.

Wonderful pictures of the sweetest lady on the road! I saw Willie for the 7th time last year in my hometown Bend, Or. After the show I called to Bobbie as her and Paul were leaving the stage. She very happily walked over and signed my Honeysuckle Rose record. She graciously posed for pictures and I just felt she was the nicest lady ever. I also got my second autograph from Paul that night.

I just discovered this site'; love it; I want to get Bobbie's C.D. Thanks goodness, I have been able to see her play couple times when attended Willie's concerts; and hope to be around to see them again. Thanks to the Nelson Family for the great music all these years.

I heard their mother left them first then their father. I heard their grandparents raised them and bought them their first instruments. They struggled, but are still together after years of struggling. God has blessed them and we are reaping the rewards. I love Willie's songs and guitar style, and his sister Bobbie is an amazing pianist.
