I find his flawed, warbly voice to be incredibly appealing. it's all a style. william CAN sing ''well'', with technically perfect pitch. but he prefers to sing in a raw, human, heartfelt way. at least in some of his albums. usually in the palace and will oldham records he has a more lo-fi style and so his voice is imperfect, and in his more produced, grand-scale records with bonnie prince billy, he sings with technicality.
