I haven't listened to this song in soo long, then heard it on tv and was like oh my gosh yees! They deserve to have it play on tv. They need more songs like this playing on tv commercials. It's such a great song.

This is one of those songs that reveals it's significance to you later down the road.

There is something profoundly beautiful about young people exploring the ecstasies and agonies of their bodies--seizing a moment that can't wait an instant longer. The song is an instant dose of nostalgia for times not all that long ago, but are also getting real hazy on the mind's horizon as the moments drift forever away, the way I remember a hot air balloon turning into a pushpin in the sky, as I watched out the rear window of my parents car, going the opposite direction. A sense of loss and curiosity hit me: "Where were they going? Who were they? Where had they been?", and I've been asking those same questions of every person I've met since then. That's the plight of being unreasonably sentimental, I suppose.

I see you hidden in the night I found youI see you separate from the othersBent crooked in the light around youBathing in the sight of the othersI couldn't say what I was thinkingMy heart shrinkingTwo sad sparks blinking in the sunWait one minuteI had to listen for itIt was hidden in the fallWaiting on love to callI met you in the dead of winterI stood stranded in the waterDug deeper than a crooked splinterI turned away from all the othersI couldn't say what I was thinkingMy heart shrinkingTwo sad sparks blinking in the sunWait one minuteI had to listen for itIt was hidden in the fallWaiting on love to callSad hopes I'd hidden underTangled inside of meYou spoke like broken thunderDeep into the center of meI couldn't say what I was thinkingMy heart shrinkingTwo sad sparks blinking in the sunWait one minuteI had to listen for itIt was hidden in the fallWaiting on love to callI hear it call in the center of it allYou're the love of my lifeI feel it all in the center of my heartYou're the love of my life
