AH, I am in such agreement! This album changed my life and when you say this is your favorite band ignorant people want to throw around labels such as "hipster" because no has heard of it. In all actuality it is just that amazing, that raw, that fucking insightful. They take everything people are too afraid to speak aloud about the deepest of feeling and most ashamed actions and turn it into beautiful poetry and music. Then, they actually have the courage and soul to share it with the world.

bands that arent exactly like 'why?'... pavement and silver jews, they are classics. though. has that similar poetic cadence, silver jews is much more mellow, and pavement is a lot more wide open and rockish at times. id say even some of their low tech simpler songs kinda remind me of casiotone for the painfully alone. once again,.. these arent bands like why?.. just that why? reminds me of them

Why? is my favorite band, which honestly sucks a little. Because I love this type of music, and I want to find more of it, but this band is just so unique, so when you've listened to all of this amazing music (especially this album), that's really all of it that there is out there.
