Perhaps in acknowledgement that God's ways are far wiser than our human ways? I agree with you that we should aim to have God's ways as ours...but in the end we still only have human reasoning. The Lord knows all and thus always knows better...especially when it comes to things like times of pain we would think it better to avoid, but God knows we will benefit from going through them. God bless us all. God loves us all. There are lots who won't believe coz the're afraid of the truth and blinded by worldly things. But I tell you that God is real and he is a living God.
