Well I can say what I think he was saying but I'm asking him. If ppl was just to go by what u were saying then there would be no enjoyment of going to a concert, y not just buy the dvd. If I wanted to just hear some1 sing I can buy a cd. I didn't ask him what was he trying to say, if u read my comment correctly its says I'm wondering what was their POINT. Thats the key word. I think he or she was trying to say that people went to watch Whitney for her vocal performance. Just the voice was enough. Whereas these days many performers rely on gimmicks. Without naming specific performers, I think if all they had was their voices, and no gimmicks like dancers, fireworks or wild costumes, they wouldn't have as much popularity.
