This was one of the first Whitesnake TV appearances ever. You can see that it was first line up of WS without Jon Lord (who came later).

David Coverdale - Vocals

Micky Moody - Guitar

Bernie Marsden - Guitar

Neil Murray - Bass

Pete Solley - Keyboards

Dave Dowle - Drums

Wow! Bernie Marsden young and weighing in in under 400 lbs! LOL. Great guy, love his playing. He has a great sense of taste.

From the highs of Bloody Mary to the imbecile depths of "Is this love"....transcontinental poodle rock aka Bon Jovi........what a fall for this great band!!

What a great start for Whitesnake this was. The heavy boogie numbers that followed this always raised a smile - Lie Down, Rock'n'Roll Women, Black & Blue, Wine Women & Song, Would I Lie to You?, and Bloody Luxury.

I was fifteen an' all innocent when this came out (and I bought the EP) but it's only when I listened to it recently that I realised what he meant by "Madame Palm and her five sweet daughters..." (@1:35). I always wondered who Madame Palm was... Should have just taken a look at my right hand!!... Classic!!!
