The Whitehead Brothers are an American R&B duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, made up of two brothers, Kenny Whitehead and Johnny Whitehead. They are the sons of the R&B songwriter, John Whitehead, who was one half of another musical duo, McFadden & Whitehead.

The Whitehead Brothers released an album named Kenny & Johnny (1986), on the Philadelphia international label. Their next album was 1994's Serious from which the single "Your Love Is a 187" was released. The next single "Forget I Was a G'" was on the Jason's Lyric soundtrack. A single from an untitled unreleased album, "Feel Your Pain" in 1996, went relatively unnoticed.

I'm on a male r&b kick right now. I can't forget about the Whitehead Bros. Ya'll are all right with me. Love the way ya'll sing. I like how Kenny twisted that note at 3:16. He did it fast as hell.

It also sounds like "Seems Like You're Ready".

Listen to the chords on this song , it sound just like R Kelly's "Come to Daddy", don't it?

This is my song. I loved how brothas used to dress back then. Motown gave them little to no promotion. Too bad because they could sing.

Wow, blast from the past. I was like 15 when this song came out. I miss real R&B. All we have now is that rave/glow stick music Usher tries to claim is R&B.

Just had john Whitehead Jr over at the crib. He still got it and will be featured in upcoming projects.
