So you know the deal by now, Jack n Meg are having a ball, and possibly a biscuit too, while venturing through Canada on tour. Ably supported by young Dan Sartain no less, show him some appreciation and get there early if you're going to one of the gigs.
Here's footage, fresh from the oven, of the Halifax Secret Show at the local pool hall.
And now, in 2010, documentation from the tour is finally getting released, on DVD,CD, and vinyl LP, look for Under Great White Northern Lights in your local music store and support the little record shops of the world!

I'd say that all those things are in there, but I think punk is, too. Fell In Love With A Girl is evidence of this. I know that that song is a staple of garage rock revival, but so is Hate To Say I Told You So (The Hives), Outtathaway (The Vines), and Last Nite (The Strokes). I bring those songs up because Garage Rock isn't a musical style so much as a production or contextual style. Garage rock is a combination and a variation of multiple musical genres (including punk).15 years ago
