yeah its cool how they incorporated the new technology like synths/drum machines, but used the same type of arrangements as the 70s, just using different instruments

yea, thanks. I ask because I like to compare the early 80s sound with the lush 70s sound. It fails by comparison, the 70s live instrumentation and strings and rhythms and lyrics were the best thing going but it is nice to know how the sound evolved.
