@DimitriVHefley yeah man, i used to be a pure metalhead but ever since i joined a jazz band, ive been all about fusion. "One Word", "Noonward Race", and "Vital Transformation" by Mahavishnu Orchestra and "Mysterious Traveller" by Weather Report would be good places to start. "Shrooms and Cheese" by OHMPHREY (another Chris Poland project) is also a great fusion jam to start with.

@DimitriVHefley If you dig this, check out Mahavishnu Orchestra. Most of their music is completely improvised, but they work together so well almost like telepathy.
