This song was recorded in February 1975, just before he fell off of Mt. Ajax in August that same year. Again, I hadn't said anything about "Hank Jr. and Friends" which was released in December of 1975. U think ur the only one who knows when the Hank Jr and Friends album was recorded? Regardless of when Hank Jr and friends was recorded, doesn't change the fact that this song was recorded just before he fell off the mountain. Let me know if u need some more schooling about Luke Jr.

Relatively speaking, NO, it wasn't "made" just before he fell off the mountain! It was RELEASED several months prior....and "Made" or "recorded" even more months prior. The music from "Bocephus" was recorded (made) sometime in 1974 prior to the album being released. Hank Jr. was actually in the recording studio just weeks prior to leaving for Montana after recording the album, Hank Jr. & Friends. The friends album was released closer (in time) to Hank's fall, than the Bocephus album
