Look, I know this is a really weird video. For this dramatic, very gloomy song by mr. John Grant (he's a boss), my plan was to create a haunting, maybe slightly Lynchian atmosphere: sharp dressed and lit by one of those turning lamps - you know, those contraptions they usally make for kids, with animals and stuff - inside my trailer house. A mysterious bearded man playing a sad song.

Now, I couldn't find a turning lamp, so I had to make do with a crappy mini-disco-ball, which makes no light at all, and I couldn't use the trailer house 'cause an electrical wire got broken, and outside it was raining hard, and I risked ending up up like Doc in Back to the Future when he has to connect cables and the storm is coming, and my sharp suit then was soaking wet, and I had to go record the song in my very creepy toolshed next to a giant gourd. So here's what you got. By the way, a really, really great song in a really great album called Queen of Denmark.

I'm playing a slightly amplified MahiMahi tenor 77g (courtesy of http://www.mercatinodellukulele.it ), my Suitcase Drum Machine™ and, for the first time ever, on my right foot you can see my exclusive Bag-O'-Nails™.
