Anyone who thinks MBV is more about style over substance in the songwriting department (an assertion too often said or implied in articles/reviews), this song is a pretty damn good testament to their melodic abilities. All of Loveless is simple and repetitive in its song structure, but that's because what they were doing happened to work best that way... it doesn't take away from the fact that Kevin Shields can no doubt create beautiful melodies, not just stunning sounds.
