It's me, again. I also play the piano and organ. Today (October 5, Pentecost 17), I filled in at a local Lutheran Church. I played this as the Hymn of the Day. It is #803 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.

The song reminds us that the world is nothing compared to God's amazing love and that He deserves our all, not just part of us.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (March 5, Ash Wednesday), I attended a noon service at a local United Methodist Church. We sang this as the Opening Hymn. It is #298 in The United Methodist Hymnal. And may we walk with Jesus (and not cut & run) as he begins his journey to the Cross.
