The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra performs 'I Love You, Raylene' at the Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington, New Zealand, 2009.

Stephen Jessup is singing this song. His friend John McDougall wrote it. John was inspired by a piece of graffiti he saw painted in thick white house-paint on a billboard in Paekakariki, near Wellington.

@ralius18: I think the intro is B, D7, and from then on it's a G, D7. The G sounds better anyway. Not your standard G, it's a barre chord like F# moved down 1 fret: 4232, which makes it easy to swap to the D7 :) They also appear to use a 2225 D and an Em here and there. e.g. [G]I love you Raylene, I love you Raylene, I [D7] love you Raylene, I [G] love you Raylene Then I think it goes: [C]I got drunk, how drunk I [B]got[ G] The C isn't quite right, close though. Hope that helps.
