This... is horrible.His annunciation , his tone, etc.. Yes, I understand its just personal taste, but his voice and his sound do NOT match the tone this song needs.. and sadly, he covered a very popular song so he really set the bar high, but fell waaaaay low.

I do like these guys a lot. For real. I dig bands that keep 80s metal going into the future and I like their original stuff. But they should not ever, ever..... ever........................... EVER .................. do this. Do what, you ask?They (or ANY damn band) should never cover a song and just basically make it "look how close to the original we can make it" because you will fail. Fail, fail, fail, fail. That is utterly pointless. The vocals sound like James Hetfield when he was 7. Fucking ridiculous. How should a cover be done? By putting your own original sound into it. Re-arrange it, make it significantly different than the original. Therefore, the best band on planet earth for doing one-of-a-kind covers is obviously Van Halen, kiddies. They knew how to cover shit.

It's just a more modern version, it's not bad just because you may not like it. I personally don't like it, but that doesn't mean it's bad by any stretch. Kudos to BFMV for a decent cover of a killer song.

This song actually compliments BFMV style. As much as we hate to admit it BFMV has always been "emo". Sanitarium is just that, emo yet heavy, but also psychotic.

Not awful, but not really good either. His voice isn't right for it. The instrumentals aren't as good as original either IMO. But hey, it IS the almighty Metallica....nice effort.

The instrumentals were actually quite good, but I didn't like the vocals which is really what weighed this cover down. The message is very petty because of that one aspect. While this cover isn't terrible, it isn't great either.

metallica version is better but I like this too and people who say that this is rubbish cos it's a different band who normally play a different style, in this case screamo, just think this band at least has the decency to honour the best thrash band to stand on a stage and pump out incredible riffs.

To shut people up...You're only hating on them because they're a metalcore band from the 2000s covering a Metallica song. I can agree Metallica and Limp Bizkit did better. But being a metalhead this might sound odd..but I freaking hate metalheads. Not all just the kind like you saying that "Oh this band sucks because *insert irrelevant reason here*" unless you truly don't like the sound then well you're just plain stupid. Bullet for my Valentine has true talent! I like ALL metal and other genres of music like punk rock, some rap, ect. because well here lemme put it this way. We're at an ice cream truck. Metal is well strawberry flavored (my fav) but sometimes you want vanilla or chocolate flavored mkay. Seriously you guys are to stuck to one genre and feel that if you like anything else you're a 'poser'...it's annoying. Metallica is the KING of metal no way around it but bands like Bullet for my Valentine, Korn and even LIMP BIZKIT don't deserve the hate unless you truly hate the sound -__-
