Nearly every person who has commented on this video has half convinced me that they're retarded. One- this cover was professionally recorded in this video. It was not recorded in a studio. Two- the point of covering something is to add your own style to it while respecting the original artist. Rivers sings in his octaves and keeps it sounding very decent, since that's what is comfortable to him. Three- sick and tired of people claiming weezer isn't a good band anymore. Who are you to say that? They have more talent than every fucking viewer this video has. They work hard to give you content and want legitimate feedback on things they're changing and so many just whine that it's not the same. That's the point. How would weezer grow and progress as a band if they feed you the same shit all the time? I hate you guys....
