Weezer Trivia This track comes off what is known as the "Third Demo" tape, recorded in November 1992 with 4 other songs from The Blue Album on it. About 275 tapes were made and circulated. The studio album was released in 1995, 3 years after this was recorded.

Saying this isn't produced is a bit of a falacy, since there's no record saying that this was or wasn't produced in some way. Since Rivers had experience in media recording previously (and even took a class in it) it's safe to say that there was some attention to detail put in recording the guitars and bass. The drums, however, seem to be a different story, but whatever.

@Coltonn56 It wasn't produced at all you fucking turd. This is a demo. In most cases they set up mics in nonmeasured positions and let the band play without editing anything. They then listen to this and get an idea of what they want to follow while producing the song bit by bit, usually.
