Part of me wishes that Weezer disbanded after Matt Sharp's departure. 90's Weezer has aged like fine wine but the music they made over the following 20 years has had little to no impact on their legacy. A lot of their post-Pinkerton music feels cheesy and forced and I feel the band members would have been better off pursuing other avenues and interests. Just my two cents, I am aware a lot of you would probably disagree.
