This was one of the first songs I'd heard with 3/4 timing when I first heard this album. I'd never really thought about it until later on when I actually got INTO music, but it's still just another awesome thing about this track. Another highlight off Pinkerton, along with Tired of Sex, Getchoo, Why Bother, Across the Sea, The Good Life, El Scorcho, Pink Triangle, Falling for You, Butterfly, we can't forget the B-Sides either, what with Devotion and You Gave Your...yeah, you get the point.

The guitar reminds me so much of the texture of The Pillows, that opening hook is killer

If pinkerton wouldn't had so many bad critics in 96 weezer would still be a good band

He's obviously listened to the blue album, and just prefers Pinkerton, nothing wrong with that.

Pinkerton and The Blue Album make me so emotional for some reason. This song and "The World Has Turned And Left Me Here" always reminds me of my ex. I miss her. :(

Hell, the only reason I'm here is because Michael Cera said it was his favorite album of all time. Otherwise I would have listened to El Scorcho, and kept moving. This is an extraordinary album. It's got a great live sound, and it's way more abrasive and dark than most of their stuff. I really wish that it was more popular. Weezer deserves it.

I'd have disagree, as most fans say its their favourite Weezer album, even above Blue, in my opinion

Well, "the good music critic" would be able to appreciate music for its composition, and see through trivial things like production. The melodies in this song are utterly infections in my opinion

I would say green is their second most popular album

Most critics regard Pinkerton as a masterpiece now, Weezer, or, Rivers, at his apex. It's my understanding that the reception was so poor initially due to it being so different from Blue, and that it heavily contrasted with what kind of music was being released at the time. What do I know, though? I was still shitting my diapers when Pinkerton dropped.

underrated? isn't it the 2nd most popular weezer album?
