I don't think comparing Weezer to the Beatles is that wrong or far off. I mean the Beatles are my favourite band by far, but Weezer is a close second. It's not like anyone said "Weezer is a thousand time better than the Beatles". Nah, they just said they have a few of the same good qualities that the Beatles had.

I hate when people try to categorize weezer and say that their not even comparable to the beatles or an of the old famous bands. I mean come on man we have this great band with the a genius as the lead singer that make great music and we have to tell ourselves these dudes would never be high or good as the beatles were. If I want to say the red album is just as good as any beatle album then I'll say it I don't care what suppose Music lover tells me It's my opinion and my taste of music. =W=
