Completely agree that I loved their first serious Album Admist The Bloodshed, bought some original merch from them and Whitechapel 08 Revolution with TheAcaciaStrain and Norma Jean ; Vince and Phil with Whitechapel loved those shirts and the music they were producing at the time. Quality if I'm right was very rushed on Malevolence, Huber left the band, lots of line up changes. Personally I like the new styling of IDW though I was originally a bit butthurt, kept to the straight in your face, skull shattering riffs and fuck you vocals to the best of their abilities. It's a different band, but that's the fun, watching the evolution of a project.

It's weird. I got out of deathcore over a year ago. I don't ever listen or like bands in the genre anymore. But every now and then a generic ass band can thoroughly impress me. It makes me move.

i love the production on this album. i love how they can make such solid tracks with riffs that sound like they wouldn't really be able to create much of anything. i suppose that's the beauty of metal. people are just stupid and fail to realize that it's art, just as much as any other type of music, but no one wants to (or can't, for whatever reason) accept the fact that it took talent to make because it's just dreadful, obnoxious and abrasive sounding to them
