I see a dude driving cautiously into a hurricane. Feeling nervous as he see's trees and houses being lifted. Lightning crashing down in front of his car as he tries to stay on the road. The storm is throwing obstacles in his way and the rain is obtructing his view. He starts to see odd things that haunt him of his past flying by; randomly, kind of like that cow from twister and more frequently the deeper he goes into the storm. Then...he reaches the eye of the hurricane. With a sense of calmness over coming him, he realizes that the storm will pass eventually. He floors it to the other side! Not hesitating this time bc he knows what to expect and how the storm will deliver. The end.

There was no historical promise of jet packs in the 21st century. It was postulated that in the 21st century, if technological advancement occurred at the same pace as the 20th century, then it might be possible the personal jetpack would be perfected to the point it was reliable enough for personal transportation. Sadly this never happened. We're closer to an anti-gravity device than reliable jet packs. But we have cool phones.
