Which pickup's sound do you like better? The EMG TW or Seymour Duncan SMB4d?

Here is a question, for someone who wants a heavy bottom end would you recommend that EMG? So far only thunderbird pickups from gibson have the low end I like.

Its an awesome bass, plays really well. I've never changed the pickups myself, I just take it to a local guitar tech but he never seemed to have any trouble. That EMG pickup is terrible though! I've got a Seymour Duncan SMB-4d in it now and it plays/sounds better than any Stingray I've ever picked up.

Thanks a lot! To be honest, I'm not a massive fan of that pickup! I've changed it now. I'm currently using the Seymour Duncan SMB-4d and its waaaaay better. I struggled for quite a while to get that tone out of the EMG, but I never really liked it from the moment I bought it. the bottom end is ridiculous... too much bottom end for my style of playing haha Don't know much about the sterling sb14's, sorry man. I wouldn't wanna give out any wrong information haha Thanks for the comment too!
