Ol' Waylon Sings Ol' Hank is an album by Waylon Jennings, released independently on WJ Records, the singer's own label, in 1992. As the title suggests, it features Jennings' performances of songs written or made famous by Hank Williams. The recordings were made in 1985 and very few copies of the release were pressed; in effect, the original album is extremely rare today. In 2006, the record was reissued on YMC Records as Waylon Sings Hank Williams with a new cover and a bonus track featuring Jennings reminiscing on his past.

I didn't know Waylon ever recorded this Leon Payne song, but I'm glad he did. Waylon Jennings had a wonderful voice. He made an early album with a kind of folk group. It had McArthur Park, Days of Sand and Shovels, and some other really good tunes. Wish someone would put them up on Youtube.11 years ago

Hi ROn. I've decided that there is seriously something wrong with me because I own every single album of Waylons, not to mention his recorded works on others albums and yet, here I am, listening to another favorite on youtube!...lol There has to be a 10 step program out there for us except no one would join because it's one addiction no one wants to quit.
