I was born in 1975 and brought up listening to Waylon cranked up so high the room would vibrate. I have his original 'W' logo tattooed on my arm as he meant so much to me and my parents. I have so many happy memories listening to his legendary voice.

I was raised on country, but until the Outlaws Movement quite frankly, I was getting bored with most of it. I re-discovered country. I would be hard pressed now to name a favorite, but Waylon and Willie and Johnny Cash are way up there. I have also enjoyed several new comers are on my list, but I don't think I would still be listening to country if it weren't for these guys putting an honest edge on it.
