@largemoose Cynic fucking sucks. Take away that singers voice decoder and maybe it would sound better. FUCK CYNIC. The worst part is, everybody in that band is extremely talented, I juts can't stand the robot vocals.

the thing with watchtower and cynic is that they exhibit a lot of technique with almost no emphasis on melody. What's the point of making ur music hard to play when it's no good to listen to right? however personally i love watchtower and cynic and dream theater too. for me they all contribute to my entertainment..embrace variety because variety makes u more powerful as a musician, and as a person

dream theater can suck my balls man, they are not even progresssive metal,if you want the real thing,something that means a real challenge for you as a musician go and listen watchtower or cynic otherwise,someone is selling you a version of metallica with a little more technique..and that's all dream theatr is nothing else than that
