I love this album so, so much. Henry went back to his D.C. roots and rapped over some old school D.C. go-go beats. This is one of my favorite records of all time. The mix of hardcore and go-go is one of the best things that ever happened to modern music.

He was a BIG Madonna fan too. He wrote several pieces about her.

Hank totally dug rap. He idolized Public Enemy, and when I interviewed him personally in 1992 he told me that his favorite record at that time was CHECK YOUR HEAD by the Beastie Boys, who he did a tour later that year opening for. 'Making fun of rap'? Huh?

It's funny, this song is kind of like a Talking Heads song except more bitter and sardonic, 'cause Henry's in it.
