This song is terrible. Any high school garage band could write shit like this. And then to leave Jani out of all those old photos and video... what disrespect. These guys just rode his coattails to stardom then abandoned him when he needed friends the most. Jani wrote EVERY SINGLE NOTE of their music. Without him, these guys would still be playing on the street. Hell they were so bad that Jani had to bring in his friend from Poison, C.C. DeVille, in order to record the albums cuz they couldn't play the guitar solos. SMH.

Okey the guy can sing....but older fans like the old vibe.the band should totally wash out the modern flavor in their music...lets hear the total potential of their new singer,make sunsetstrip style album with lots of hardrock and ballads and that would be killer...the first 3 albums of warrant were the true warrant..ulthraphobic is a bitter pill to swallow but theres no choice..

People in the comments keep saying there is kno warrant without jani but fail to remember bands like ac/dc and journey both lost their first singer and are still rockin to this day. Warrant defintely still rocks.

I was a huge fan of Jani Lane, but the people are waiting the band to stop due the sad fact of Jani's pass away! It's not fair, don't you think? Life goes on, dudes! The band still sounds honestly as a true rock and roll band!

Objetivamente, reconozco que Rockaholic es un buen disco, y que Robert Mason es un gran cantante... Pero al escucharlos ahora, siento que son otra banda... Le sigo teniendo mucho cariño a Erik, a Steven, a Jerry y a Joey, pero lamentablemente la figura de Jani Lane tenía demasiado peso en Warrant... Otro detalle que me produce un poco de pena, es que le hayan dado vuelta la espalda a Jani en este video... Se supone que Life's a Song es una canción de corte nostalgico, que evoca los buenos momentos que vivieron los chicos de la banda en el pasado... Por lo mismo, Jani merecía mayor crédito... Jani escribió todo el disco DRFSR, el cual los lanzó a la fama... Lo mismo sucedió con Cherry Pie y con Dog Eat Dog (gran parte de los temas fueron firmados por JL)... Jani siempre fue el principal compositor del grupo, y la cara visible... Ese rubio carismático y enérgico, que dejaba la vida en cada presentación... La marca "Warrant" puede que le pertenezca a Erik Turner, pero el CORAZON del grupo lo aportaba el gran Jani Lane... Que en paz descanses John K. Oswald, gracias por tu música, la cual me acompañará hasta el fin de mis días.
