Your so wrong about it being silly to categorize this sound as Metal punk, its a perfect description for this type of sound, especially being that not all Metal or punk bands have a sound that confusingly intertwine with each other to the point the listener is like "is this Metal or Punk?" It sounds like both.

Dude there isn't a single thing that relates to Black Thrash in here. This has Crust and D Beat riffs in here. Well honestly I would cal this an Early form of Black Metal like Hellhammer Venom NME or Bathory. BTW I recommend you listen to Celtic Frost's "Morbid Tales album. It isn't Crust but you can make allot of musical connections. And also listen to UK band Sacrilege "Behind the Realms" Many call that album Thrash, but I say its crust
