I've always loved this song. However, it is occasionally difficult to listen to it without thinking of Edward Winter in his role of Colonel Flagg on M*A*S*H. It just goes to show how very talented the man was.14 years ago

Everyone should seek his lesser known material, especially his own recordings, which include gems like She's Gone Away and Pacific Coast Highway, both on the "Make it Easy on Yourself" album, the one that includes some of the songs from Promises, Promises.
