Bought this pedal. Then returned it because I thought my metal muff sounded better. Long story short, I ended up repurchasing it because it was able to give me a different tone than the metal muff. I absolutely love the sound of the triple wreck! Once you get it dialed in, it's got some pretty unstoppable power. My only beef is that for a near $300 tag, it is only capable of teo or three different usable distortion tones (worthy of using on a definitive recording and or "finished product". It's also VERY bass heavy and when at or near full blast on the gain, you get that massive what I call " kurt cobain feedback right when he stops playing." It screams!!! Noise gate city! Anyway.... That being said, this pedal delivers an amazing metal tone and for sure usable, but if you make less than 1200 a month here in the u.s., save ur money!!! Get a metal muff!

...What??? There's no way a pedal sounds this good with this much gain. I'm calling hax.

+rascal1717 I own a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III Celestion v30 equiped... well... triple wreck sounds really amazing. It's not the same as a rectifier amp.. but it's a 250 bucks pedal (R$1000 in Brazil) .. so Im satisfied with itSorry for the bad English

I just received a Triple Wreck and I must say Im really disappointed...I cant seem to get as much power as Ola does in this demo. Even with the gain all the way up on Brutal mode it sounds more like a 70s or 80s rock type pedal than a modern metal distortion pedal...can anyone give me advice?

Triple wreck has more thump and lower resonant frequency if you are going into an amp with any gain on IE not on the amps clean channel. I just traded my Megalith for that reason. This demo sounds exactly like the triple wreck in person. I changed a couple internal chips to Burr Brown and it makes the pedal even better and clearer although it is great right out of the box
