One of the things I've always liked about OneRepublic is that they don't really have a particular sound. You name any genre besides rap, OneRepublic has at least 5 songs in that area. I mean, yeah, say Taylor Swift. She's good and all. I love her. But she's got that same ner ner ner ner bullshit beat (no offense! I still love her) in all of her songs. And all her songs are ABOUT the same thing. FUCKING HEARTBREAK. OneRepublic has those sad songs, but they have songs with all different meanings. And props to you for reading my essay lol
