Voxtrot - Steven video free download
The footage for the 'Steven' video was shot during the band's fall 2006 tour, with the live shots from a show at the Bowery Ballroom in early November. The footage was shot by the band and Elizabeth Skadden (who filmed the Reaching For The Lasers documentary - http://www.reaching4lasers.com). The video was edited by John Carlucci.
This is the first video from the band's debut on PlayLouderecordings. They just finished shooting their second video in Austin with Martin Wallace (Pulp, Tindersticks, Nick Cave) for the second single called, "Firecracker".

hes talkin about how he misses his youth, after he started his career he got all the money (fruits of labor) but none of the predicted fun from that cash (half the fun) and steven im guessing is someone from his youth. its about growin up and leavin that carefree person behind going into the humdrum of adult life, but hes rebelling against that with this song13 years ago

Before I looked it up, I always saw the song as a song to a dead son. Which is killer sad. In reality, Ramesh wrote the song about leaving Glasgow and school to rejoin the real world.15 years ago
