Finnish death metal. From the album, "A Leftover". Released in 1995 by Invasion Records.

A unique Finnish gem (certainly not a leftover, heh). The vocals are very unusual for Finnish death metal, kind of a mid-pitch grindy growl whereas most of the scene specialized in deep rasping. The guitar riffs on this album are quite melodic sometimes, but without sacrificing brutality. Often the riffs contain a "rhythm" part and sort of a melody part over it. Drumming superb as always. Great release.

Does he sit here

All he has are memories

Thinking (about) problems of their own

Then one day the place was emptied

No bottle, no man or paperbag

Still something in there reminds of him

An abandoned ol wretched hat...

Something that has always

Been in there and gone

Almost everything's unchanged

Life is just the same

People go to work

Or to buy a newspaper

They just wonder why

He used to have ambitions
