I keep wanting to know if the voice box in high octave mode still preserves the high octave when you growl into it, or loses it the way TC Helicon's does. I growl a lot in the middle of my voice range, which is third piano octave. In my opinion the way TC Helicon processes the signal, picking the lowest frequency in the input to base the octave on, is not the best way, because as soon as you growl, the lowest frequency that it chooses to octave up becomes the growl which is originally lower than everything else, not the melody you sing through the growl. IF EHX processes it differently and circumvents this problem I'd like to know.
