In what seems like a past life, 10 or more years ago, my ex-wife introduced me to this song. Shortly after, I remember having a nap and waking up to an overcast sky with the strongest feeling of sehnsucht and this song and its powerful lyrics running through the forefront of my mind. Since that moment, every few years, I will wake up with this song in my mind, no matter how much has changed throughout my life. I never listen to VNV nation or this song otherwise. It happened again this morning.
