"The lyrics draw on philosophy, literature, art, politics and different forms of symbolism. VNV Nation does not advocate any ideology. It is a metaphor for expression."

This song (and album) has been on my playlist for a while now, but tonight the lyrics jumped out @ me provided much needed inspiration. God or Buddha or Big Bang. This track can truly inspire one towards keeping on my& hope.

To all you people arguing about religion: Ronan isn't trying to tell any of you what to believe or not believe. Why are you so intent on trying to do it in his stead? It's an uplifting song that's applicable to a huge range of people, religious or otherwise. VNV Nation isn't about drawing lines. It's about transcending them wherever possible.

Its a matter of opinion honestly, people should be allowed to believe in what they please, so long as it dose not lead to violance, unless the religion and or values points towards violance as an answer.

Carry You. I've always thought they sing "holy cow" instead of "all the power" Whatever, these songs are so damn great

No. Religion does not equal conflict: that's a very absolutist look. Also VNV Nation and Religion. Same sentence. Ronan would care less, as the only thing he is against is violence. Hence the group's name: "Victory Not Violence". Religion doesn't always equal violence, regardless of what alot of people think these days. People may equal violence. Politics may equal violence. To say that one thing does, when it has it's lighter side as well as it's darker side, is silly.
