Not too bad.  The orchestra for its part performed VERY well for a small orchestra.  The two soloists did ok.  Not perfect, especially when it came to playing trills... and a few sour notes.  But overall it was pretty good.  This is one concerto where both soloists HAVE TO BE PERFECT with zero errors for an excellent performance.

hard to master treble with trumpets in Bb, why not play the songs with a trumpet in C or high Bb?

Usually the 1st valve slide is a bit too short to get the perfect weltempered pitch for the 'f', esp. on Schilke trumpets! This makes the 'f' sound good in baroque music but the 'a' much too sharp!
