On stage tonight is Vince Gill. This is a series of audio only tracks that made my Country Charts from 1994 to 2002. Have checked as of today on You Tube, no upload exists for this track, hence the need for this stage appearance. The track was written by Vince with Guy Clark. No copyright infringement is intended.

I had to play this for my little girl. She's 3 1/2 and a train fanatic too. Everyday we play "engines" and take them to the steamworks or the dieselworks where I have to repair their "cracked funnels" and polish their buffers and such. Thanks for posting this! It was one of my favourite tracks on my old cassette.

I first heard this "track" (no pun intended) in HAMPTON 3188!, Victoria Australia, about two years ago, with a Wednesday night acoustic duo with two pretty "workmanlike" musos... on the job......beautiful beautiful song....

First time I've heard this version. The only other version I had heard of this song was by Terry Talbot and Barry McGuire. Very good song.

This song is included in Vince's one of the album 'High Lonesome Sound'. When I first heard this song from the video taken in 1995 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, I thought it was so sweet and pretty specifically the way Vince finishes the song with guitar and I wanted it so bad.

Thank you for that, my niece is called Jenny and her Dad is a model railway fanatic, so I have always loved this song, hope Vince's daughter still does.

@NourNZ - Noor, I just love this track by him. Actually, slightly disagree with ya as I prefer his 80's stuff to be honest. Most of it is uploaded already of course. Have a GREAT week and well done NZ at the Rugby but it was much closer than I thought. Steve :-)

Vince Gill is a singer who seems too has gone from strength. His laid back attitude seems to make every song he sings totally his. Hope you had a great weekend. Thanks Steve Noor:-)
