THE NINE PALADINS : BATTLE OF HEAVEN AND HELL (war 1)"There is something wrong with the World Stone." Magyall, the Aspect of Life screamed as he ran into the meeting room of the Ten Paladins. "Calm down Magyall, we all sensed it." Tryton, the Aspect of Order had just sat down and he unsheathed his sword from his back and placed it on the table. Ladrix, the Aspect of Death sat down, he took off his hood, one of the very few times he did so, his long white hair draped over his shoulders his white skin gleamed. "I've sensed something wrong with the World Stone." Ermitees, the Aspect of Wisdom said in his smooth mono toned voice, "Do not worry, the angelic armies are on there way to the Golden Sanctum." it was the middle of heaven, and the housing of the World Stone, the source of elemental and arcane magic. "What if gets destroyed!" yelled Magyall, "Ermitees, had walked over to his brother and placed his hand on this shoulder, a white light pulsed as he whispered into Magyall's ear, "Calm now, we can handle this." at that Magyall was calmed, and slouched in his chair. "What has happened?" boomed Lord'hieron, the Aspect of War as he walked into the meeting room of The Ten, Kasist, the Aspect of Chaos and Tamera the Aspect of Love followed. "Where is Tiron, Orphanas, and Paradox?" Tryton asked as his stood up and clasped Kastis' hand who was his opposite but closest to one another. "Aye, I've not seen him either." Kastis said as he took his seat next to Tryton." Ermitees looked at Tryton, his eyes were open wide, he held up his hand as his did a blinding white light flashed, the seven Paladins were standing inside the room where the World Stone was, it was easily bigger than all of the Paladins who all stood towering over the highest peeks of Velnore. "What is wrong Ermitees?" Tryton said resting his sword on his shoulder, though still alerts. As Ermitees was about to reply Paradox, the Aspect of Time burst through the doors of the room, blood and gore covering his sand colored kilt and bare chest. His two sickles were also covered. "We have a problem, hundreds of thousands of angles have gone mad with blood rage, me, Orphanas, and Tiron are fighting along side the armies. "We must go, the World Stone mustn't fall!" Magyall scream again unsheathing his spear and pointing it towards the doors, as he began to run towards the doors, Paradox stopped him, "Let go of me, they must die!" Magyall was in a frantic rage, he punched Paradox and ran out the door, yelling a battle cry. "Wait!" Tryton yelled, "Are you alright?" Ermitees asked as he walked over to Paradox. "Yes , yes, do not worry, but there is something wrong with Magyall, look at him." The seven other Paladins looked at him, all but Ermitees and Paradox looked confused, "I do not see anything wrong, except his rage." replied Tamera as she straitened out her breast plate. Ermitees stood up, "He is not glowing with the Light." Tryton walked towards the door, an angel had limped towards the door, he looked pail, he fell on one knee grabbing at Tryton's leg plates, "Whats wrong my child?" he asked, kneeling down to aid the Angel, "Die!" he yelled as he jumped up and stabbed Tryton in the chest, the Angels sword breaking on impact, Tryton grabbed the angel, "I am truly sorry my son." Tryton plunged his sword into the angels chest, piercing armor, flesh and bone. He laid the angel down gently. "Come Paladins." Tryton said as the walked out of the door, Paradox closed the door behind them, putting a minor spell on it to keep it locked. "To day we kill our own, not out of joy and not out of rage, but out of necessity. Wield your weapons with strength, kill them swiftly." Trytons voice carrying easily over the sound of battle. "Destroy it!" yelled Herera as she stuck her long boney finger at the world stone, General Cellun ran towards it, swinging his war-hammers at the giant Rock, he his it, a ear shattering crack blasted throughout heaven, blowing Herera and Cellun back against the walls of the giant room, blowing open the doors of the room and both angelic armies down. The Ten Paladins looked back, Magyall screamed as a crack ran down the World Stone, he ran towards it, fire in his eyes, spear at the ready, cutting down friend and fo alike to get to the two angels that had done this. Herera waved her boney fingers at the Paladins, and with a flash of red flame they were gone. No sooner had the flamed disappeared another ear shattering crack rang out throughout heaven, knocking the angelic army down once more, "Stay down!" yelled Tryton, Magyall had threw his spear at the duo, piercing only the Stone, it exploded, knocking down all ten Paladins. "Damn his arrogance." said Tryton said as he picked up the now unconscious Mogyall. "Take him to his room." he said handing him to a handful of angels. Ermitees followed. "Clean up the dead, tend to the wounded." Yelled Tryton so the army of well over a hundred-thousand could hear him. They had no more blood raged angels to kill, they had fled once the World Stone had been destroyed. "Why has Mogyall called us to a meeting?" asked Tiron, "The new angels still need training, me and Lord'heiron have work to do." It had been six years since the destruction of the World Stone, Mogyall had been different, he'd only been awake for about six months, which six years to a God was a blink of an eye. "I do not know, he said he had something important to tell us." replied Ladrix, his as he adjusted his hood. As soon as everyone has sat down, Mogyall burst into the room, he had gotten darker, and his eyes were turning red, though he said he felt fine. "Ah brothers, and of course the lovely Tamera." he said as he stopped and opened his arms. "What is it you wanted Mogyall, Lord'heiron and I have work to do." Don't talk to me like that boy!" snapped Mogyall, though, they were all the same age, Tiron looked the youngest. "What is it you wanted brother?" asked Tryton as he gave Tiron a wink. "I will get straight to the point, I believe I have found a new source of power, a greater power than that of the World Stone." The Nine other Paladins looked at one another in disbelief. "And you want to do what about this new source of power?" asked Paradox, his sickles laying in front of him. "I wish to go and seek it out, see if I can't find it and harness it." Mogyall was pacing back and forth talking quickly. "If that is what you wish to do, then you can, I will get a few thousand angels to accompany you. "No." Mogyall replied quickly. "I wish to do this alone. "The ten Paladins looked at one another. "If you wish Mogyall." Tryton said. "Thank you brothers and sister." he said, then with a white flash he was gone.
