I hate it when someone brought up about appearances. Listen for a moment and close your eyes, this voice, this emotion, the rift...everything sync so well. I didn't come here for his look. I stayed, and wow.. it doesn't feel like I need subtitles. They conveyed the lyrics through emotions.

Actually, it is. It's a movement characterised by both aesthetics and music. GACKT refers to it as a genre in an interview with Miyavi; I think the two of them would know.

I think we are talking about music and the music genre is "J-rock" and not Visual Kei. Visual Kei is NO music genre. :)

Excuse me for replying to such an old comment but since this genre of music is "Visual-kei" which means that looks matter a lot in their genre of music as well. I do agree looks aren't everything but that doesn't mean its nothing for them. Sorry if this was already said, I just noticed this haha
